This Privacy Policy explains how YorYor ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information. It applies to the YorYor mobile apps for iOS and Android, the YorYor Telegram Mini App, and the yor-yor.com website. YorYor is a dating and matchmaking service built for the Uzbek community worldwide. Privacy is central to what we do: your search for a life partner is personal, and we treat it that way. YorYor is operated by Davinci Tech Solutions LLC, 2538 E 17th St, Apt 1, Brooklyn, NY 11235, USA.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the information you give us, and a limited amount of technical data needed to run the service:
Account details: your phone number and/or email address (verified with a one-time code), name, date of birth, and gender
Sign-in identifiers when you choose Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, or Telegram login
Profile content: photos, bio, interests, and preferences you choose to share — including optional details such as religious practice and marriage intentions, which are shown only as you configure
Verification data: a selfie and, if you choose ID verification, your identity document — used only to confirm your identity and keep fake profiles out
Location: your precise location, only with your permission; other users see your location at city level only
Messages you send and receive in chats. Voice and video calls are not recorded; we process only the connection data needed to establish calls
Purchase history for in-app purchases (for example, roses and premium features)
Device and log data: device model, device identifiers and push notification tokens, IP address, app version, language, and crash/error logs
If you use the Telegram Mini App: your Telegram ID, name, username, photo, and language, as provided by Telegram
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information only to run and improve YorYor — never to sell it, and we show no third-party advertising inside the app:
Suggesting compatible matches based on your preferences, location, and profile
Showing your profile to other users according to your visibility settings
Keeping the community safe: photo and ID verification, content moderation, handling reports, and preventing fraud, scams, and banned users from returning
Sending you notifications (push, SMS, or Telegram) about matches, messages, and account activity
Processing your purchases and support requests
Answering the questions you send to the in-app AI assistant
Improving the service using aggregated, de-identified statistics
3. Service Providers We Share Data With
We never sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with the service providers below, only to the extent needed to operate YorYor, under agreements that require them to protect it:
Hosting and storage: Hetzner (application servers, EU/US) and Cloudflare R2 (encrypted photo and media storage)
SMS delivery for login codes: Telnyx and Eskiz
Push notifications: Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (Android) and Apple Push Notification service (iOS)
Voice and video calls: VideoSDK and Agora
Payments: Apple In-App Purchase, Google Play Billing, Stripe, and Telegram Stars — we never see or store your full card details
Sign-in providers: Google, Apple, and Telegram, when you choose those sign-in options
AI assistant: messages you send to the in-app assistant are processed by Alibaba Cloud (Qwen). Please do not include sensitive personal details in assistant chats
Crash reporting: Sentry and Google Firebase Crashlytics receive crash and error logs (device model, OS version, and stack traces) so we can fix bugs. This is not used for advertising
App usage analytics: Google Firebase Analytics records which screens you open in the mobile apps so we can improve YorYor. This is not used for advertising and is not sold
Website only: yor-yor.com uses Google Ads measurement for our marketing campaigns and Google reCAPTCHA on the contact form. The mobile apps contain no advertising SDKs
Authorities: we disclose data only in response to a valid legal request
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on servers operated by Hetzner in the EU and US, with photos and media in encrypted Cloudflare R2 storage. All traffic between your device and our servers is encrypted (TLS/HTTPS), passwords are stored only as secure hashes, and access to personal data inside our team is strictly limited. No online service can guarantee absolute security — if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at [email protected].
5. Data Retention & Account Deletion
We keep your data only while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time:
In the app: Settings → Delete Account
Without the app: follow the steps at yor-yor.com/delete-account
Your profile is hidden immediately. Deletion of your photos, matches, likes, and messages is completed within 30 days
If you sign in again within those 30 days, we may restore the account so you do not lose your matches. After 30 days, deletion is permanent
We keep a limited record longer only where the law requires it (for example, payment records for tax law) or where strictly necessary for safety (for example, preventing banned users from creating new accounts)
Data in encrypted backups is purged on the backup rotation schedule
6. Your Rights
You are in control of your data. At any time you can:
Access and export your data by emailing [email protected] with the subject "Data export"
Correct your profile information directly in the app
Delete your account and data (see section 5)
Withdraw permissions — for example, disable location access in your device settings
Object to how we process your data, or ask a human to review an automated decision
If you are in the EEA or UK, you have the rights provided by the GDPR, including the right to complain to your data protection authority. Users in Uzbekistan have the rights provided by the Law "On Personal Data". Users in the United States may also contact us at the address below. 7. Age Policy — 18+
YorYor is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. We collect your date of birth at registration, use store-level age safeguards, and remove accounts of anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have, we delete the account. 8. Cookies (Website)
The yor-yor.com web app uses cookies that are necessary for signing in and security. Our marketing pages use Google Ads measurement to understand how our advertising performs. The YorYor mobile apps do not use advertising cookies or advertising trackers. They do use crash reporting and basic in-app analytics as described in section 3.
9. International Data Transfers
YorYor serves the Uzbek community worldwide, and your data is processed on servers in the EU and US regardless of where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers, and our providers commit to protecting your data wherever it is processed.
10. Changes to This Policy
When we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and, for significant changes, notify you in the app or by notification before the change takes effect.
