Question 1

What is YorYor?

Accepted Answer

YorYor is a marriage-introduction app for Uzbek, Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Tajik, Turkmen and other Central Asian people worldwide. You say what you are looking for — intention, timeline, heritage, faith and family values — and YorYor shows you full profiles with a compatibility summary. You request an introduction with a short note; the other person accepts or declines. A parent or sibling can be linked as your guardian, verified sovchi can propose introductions, and an AI Sovchi can help you find people and write to them. It runs on Google Play (Android), on iPhone, and as a Telegram Mini App.

Question 2

Is YorYor only for people living in Uzbekistan?

Accepted Answer

Not at all. YorYor connects Central Asian families across 30+ countries — Tashkent, Almaty, Bishkek, Dushanbe, Istanbul, Moscow, Seoul, Dubai, London, New York. Wherever you are, you can meet people who share your language, your nationality and your view of marriage.

Question 3

How does YorYor ensure authenticity and safety?

Accepted Answer

We take trust seriously. Every profile can be photo-verified, and our moderation team reviews reports promptly. Marriage intention and timeline are shown on every profile, an introduction request carries a written note, and a guardian can be part of the decision — so people know what the other person is here for before anyone writes.

Question 4

Is there a free version?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The core of YorYor is free: introductions, the compatibility summary, the values quiz, privacy controls, heritage and values filters, guardians, the AI Sovchi and verified sovchi. Roses (optional in-app purchases) pay for introductions beyond the daily limit, boosts, a priority introduction and gifts.

Question 5

How is compatibility calculated?

Accepted Answer

Compatibility comes from your answers, not from your photos: the ten values-quiz questions, family preferences (children, living with parents, family approval), marriage intention and timeline, faith and level of religious practice, nationality and shared languages. Each profile shows a score, up to three things you agree on and the biggest difference, so you can judge it yourself.

Question 6

What is the Compatibility Quiz?

Accepted Answer

It is a short, culturally grounded questionnaire about what actually matters in a marriage: family roles, religious practice, children, living with parents, the balance of career and family, and wedding traditions. Your answers drive the compatibility summary on every introduction. Five questions are asked during sign-up; the AI Sovchi can help you finish the rest.

Question 7

Can I message someone before they accept?

Accepted Answer

No. You send an introduction request with a short note; the conversation opens only when the other person accepts. If they switched on guardian approval, it opens after their guardian approves, or automatically 72 hours later.

Question 8

What are roses for?

Accepted Answer

Roses are an optional in-app currency. They pay for introductions beyond your daily limit, a priority introduction that appears at the top of someone's Requests, profile boosts and gifts inside a conversation. Received introduction requests are always readable for free — you never pay to see who asked.

Question 9

How does Photo Verification work?

Accepted Answer

It’s simple and secure: upload a clear selfie holding a handwritten note with today’s date and 'YorYor'. Our team verifies it manually within 24 hours. Verified profiles display a special badge — showing others you’re real, respectful, and serious about meaningful connection.

Question 10

Do I need Telegram to use YorYor?

Accepted Answer

No — the Android app is on Google Play and anyone can download it. Telegram is optional: YorYor also works as a Mini App if you prefer not to install anything. The same account works in both.

Question 11

What are Privacy Controls?

Accepted Answer

Privacy Controls let you manage who sees what. You decide when your profile appears in Introductions, whether your photos stay private until an introduction is accepted, whether a verified sovchi may suggest you to their clients, and who can contact you. Women can also hide from Introductions entirely while still browsing themselves.

Question 12

What is heritage matching?

Accepted Answer

Heritage matching lets you filter and rank by nationality (up to two per person), the languages you speak, homeland country and region, level of religious practice, education and marriage timeline. Profiles that share your language or nationality and agree with your timeline rank higher, and the compatibility score is added on top.

Question 13

Can women hide from discovery until they are ready?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Women can switch on a setting so their profile does not appear in anyone else's Introductions until they turn "Show me in Introductions" back on. While hidden, they still see men's profiles themselves. It is separate from private (blurred) photos, which stay blurred until an introduction is accepted.

Question 14

Who can be my guardian and what do they see?

Accepted Answer

A guardian (vasiy) is an adult you invite yourself — usually a parent, an older sibling or a close relative. You send them a link or an 8-character code, they sign in and accept, and you choose their permissions: approve an introduction before a chat opens, read your chats, or block someone on your behalf. Every permission is off until you switch it on, and you can change or revoke it at any time. A guardian sees your profile as other people see it, the introduction requests you send and receive (with the other person's photo only when that person's photos are public), approvals waiting for them and your activity log — plus your conversations read-only if you granted that permission. A guardian never sees private photos, phone numbers, email addresses or precise location of anyone, can never write in your chats, and can never request or accept an introduction for you. Whenever a guardian can read a conversation, both participants are shown a badge saying so. You can have up to five family members linked at once.

Question 15

What is the AI Sovchi and what does it do with my data?

Accepted Answer

The AI Sovchi is an assistant inside the app that works the way a sovchi does: it asks you a few questions, finds people our servers have already checked against your filters, explains why each one fits, and drafts the note you send. It reads your own profile, your preferences, your values-quiz answers and your introduction requests. It cannot see anyone's private photos, anyone you blocked or who blocked you, anyone hidden from you, or anyone outside your filters, and it never receives user IDs. Nothing happens without your tap: every action it proposes — send this introduction, save this preference — is a card you confirm or dismiss. You give consent once, on a screen that says all of this, before the tab opens, and you can delete the entire conversation history at any time from the same tab. Processing runs on Alibaba Cloud Model Studio (Qwen models), named in our Privacy Policy. Use is capped per day, and if the provider is unavailable the Introductions tab keeps working normally.

Question 16

How do verified sovchi work, and do I pay?

Accepted Answer

A sovchi is a person, not a feature. Anyone can apply from inside the app; our team verifies them before they may take a single client, and only verified sovchi appear in the directory. You choose one yourself and grant three permissions: see my full profile and preferences, propose introductions to me, message me. Private photos are never shared with a sovchi. From then on they may suggest people to you with a written reason; both you and the person suggested must accept before anything opens, and every introduction shows which sovchi proposed it. You can change the permissions or end the engagement at any time. It is free: inside the app every verified sovchi has one free Introductions service, and there are no paid sovchi services in this version. A sovchi may never ask you for payment inside the app or move you to an outside payment — report anyone who does.
